OCR: CLRG Systems Disk Cacher, System 1.03 For those of you who do not know what a disk cache system is let it suffice that a disk cacher is simply a utility that stores the most recently used data by your disk. The storage is in RAM specified by the user. If the data is already in RAM, the system does not need to use precious microseconds accessing the disk for the data. The more frequently the data is accessed the faster the system is able to use it because more of it will be stored in RAM. It is possible for hard disk speed to reach RAM disk speed. CLRGCACH will speed up hard and floppy disk access as specified in the command line parameters. All activity is transparent to the user (which means you don't know it's even there). CLRGCACH will cache up to 4 disks can use DOS and EMS, and can reserve. 4.5 mb of RAM (disk access extremely fast!). So, type CLRGCACH at the DOS prompt for all command line parameters. EX: CLRGCACH /hard 1 on /dos 064
